Queen Victoria’s Toilet (Stowe)

Apr 03 2020
Off

It was decided that a garden toilet was required for Queen Victoria’s visit to the House in 1845, so that there were facilities to use in the garden if she needed them and this small building was built. It’s likely that it wasn’t a modern flushing toilet!
